Ahmed Bejaoui candidate in name of Cambodia

Unesco’s Chairman election

The former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Moahamed Bejaia, is willing to run for the elections designing the Chairman of UNESCO, in the name of Cambodia. Bejaoui’s decision is following a decision made by Algeria, to support the candidacy of the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Mr. Farouk Hosni, a well-informed diplomatic source unveiled.

In this regard, the King of Cambodia has welcomed the candidacy of the former Algerian Foreign Affairs Minister, for the position of UNESCO chairmanship, after the expiring of the term of the Japanese, Mr.Koichiro Matsura. The election of the UNESCO Chairmanship will be held as by next October.

According to the same source, Mr. Mohamed Bejaoui, who is residing in France, has expressed anger following a decision made by Algeria, to support the candidacy of the Egyptian Minister of Culture. As a result, Mr. Bejaoui has decided running for the elections designing the UNESCO Chairman, he agreed with the King of Cambodia, who welcomed him as candidate representing his country.
