Kong Piseth, singer and guitarist with homegrown band Phos Phore, performing onstage at the Wave Music Festival 2009 on Saturday night. Phos Phore and fellow Cambodian rock outfit Cartoon Plus kicked off the two-day full-moon festival at The Airport Club, Victory Beach, Sihanoukville. The rock concert vibe transformed into a hardcore dance club later in the night as DJs took over, with locals and expats alike enjoying a moonlit beach dancefloor, state-of-the-art laser light show and frenetic tunes.
