Ret Samut, a tour guide based in Siem Reap province, records his visit to an “ancient hole” that was reportedly discovered by military police officials in Prasat Bakong district last month. The military police officials have opted not to notify experts of the find, saying they believe the hole has “natural powers” they don’t want to see exploited.
