Cambodia appeals to BHU for students exchange prog

Varanasi, Aug 26 (PTI) The government of Cambodia has appealed to the Banaras Hindu University to offer educational support to its nationals for pursuing various programmes in the renowned institution, BHU officials said.

Cambodian Chairman of Commission on Foreign Affairs International Co-operation Chheang Vun alongwith a 10-member delegation met BHU Vice Chancellor D P Singh seeking educational support especially in fields of Agriculture, Tourism, Housing, Information and Communication Technology, they said.

He requested BHU to offer scholarship to enable more Cambodian students to study in the varsity, and facilitate exchange programme between the students of both institutions.

Singh assured the delegation to look into the exchange programme with Cambodian university.
