PM Hun Sen’s Son Appointed as Deputy Commander of Armed Forces

CAMBODIA, PHNOM PENH, Jan 3, 2011-Hun Manet, oldest of Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday appointed as deputy commander of infantry armed forces of Royal Cambodian Armed forced by the royal degree from King Norodom Sihamoni.

Hun Manet promoted to brigadier general for his new position and the ceremony of appointment was conducted today under highly presiding over by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Tea Banh.

Manet graduated from West Point military school in the United States, and economic degree in the UK.

Currently, Manet is 32 years old. He is the oldest son of Prime Minister Hun Sen, who ruled Cambodia more than two decades by people’s vote.
